Fascia and Soffit Ireland — Supplied or Fitted
TolVita supplies fascia and soffit Ireland-wide, in coated steel and PVC, for new builds, extensions and roofline replacements. You choose how you buy: collect the materials on their own for your own fitter, or have our crews supply and fit the whole roofline. As the official Budmat distributor, we stock genuine zinc-coated steel and GreenCoat by SSAB finishes that won’t rust, rot or need repainting.
What’s the difference between fascia and soffit?
The fascia is the vertical board running along the roof edge that the gutter fixes to; the soffit is the horizontal board tucked underneath, closing off the gap between the wall and the roof overhang. Soffits are often perforated to ventilate the roof space and prevent damp. Together they finish the roofline and protect the rafter ends from the weather.
Steel and PVC fascia and soffit we stock
Browse the full range in our fascia & soffit category, or ask us to put a materials list together:
- Steel perforated soffit panels — coated steel boards with built-in ventilation.
- Steel J-channel and L-channel — the fixing trims that hold it all together.
- PVC soffit — a lower-cost option in solid and perforated boards.
- Matching steel and PVC gutter systems and fascia brackets.
Buy on their own, or supplied and fitted
Both work for us. Trade customers and self-builders order fascia and soffit materials for collection or delivery and fit them themselves; homeowners who’d rather not climb a ladder have our own crews measure, supply and install the lot — with the gutters and roof to match. Either way you get genuine Budmat product and honest advice on quantities.

Fascia & soffit — common questions
What’s the difference between fascia and soffit?
The fascia is the vertical board along the roof edge that carries the gutter; the soffit is the board underneath, closing the gap between the wall and the roof overhang. Soffits are often perforated to ventilate the roof space.
Can I just buy the materials without installation?
Yes. You can order fascia, soffit and trims on their own for collection or delivery and fit them yourself or with your own tradesperson. If you’d prefer, our crews can also supply and fit the full roofline.
Steel or PVC soffit — which is better?
Steel is stronger, more rigid and carries a long coating warranty; PVC is lighter and lower-cost. Both resist rot and weather. We stock both, so the choice comes down to budget and the look you’re after.
Do soffits need to be perforated?
Usually, yes. Perforated soffit panels let air move through the roof space, which helps prevent condensation and damp. We stock both perforated and solid boards, plus the channels and trims to fit them.
Do you deliver fascia and soffit across Ireland?
Yes — we deliver materials nationwide, and our installation crews cover all 26 counties. Request a quote with your measurements and we’ll sort delivery or a fitted price.
Can you match the gutters and roof too?
Yes. We supply matching gutter systems and full metal roofing, so the whole roofline is coordinated from one supplier.
